Do you have family or friends or a church community close by whom you trust? Call them! Get some help, this is gonna take a little time, but it will get better. Make sure that you and your kids are safe, even if that means a hospital stay. Tell your doctor about the extreme mood swings, s/he might have something that will smooth things out in the meantime. The main thing is safety. If you are acting irrationally as well as thinking irrationally, you need to get your kids in a safe environment. You need to get a live person to help you right now. Best of luck, it will get better.

Find someone to care for your kids until the meds work. The anxiety during episodes is so all consuming it’s near impossible to do anything. Be patient finding the right meds, they really work over the long run.
Being hospitalized would only be a last resort if you didn’t have access to psychiatric help. Too much stigma on the whole family, unless you feel you are going to be a danger to yourself or your kids.
Psychiatrist won’t have you hospitalized unless you say you want to kill yourself, or if you want to go he ‘might’ get you admitted. Keep in mind the hospital is not a happy place to be.

I would say, after being diagnosed in the past as Bipolar, learn to identify when your thoughts begin to drift off to negative, and then correct them yourself. Quit relying on medication to calm you or slow down your thinking. Begin to take back control of your own thinking. For me, it was faith that really made the difference!

for the sake of your children and yourself, please get a complete check up NOW. if it requires hospitalization, so be it. you can lead a normal life with medical help, and not need to be petrified or scared to death about anything. take your meds and STAY on them. tell your doctor EVERYTHING that’s going on, otherwise how can you be helped?? my thoughts are with you at this time in your life….and best of luck!!

Go to hospital and take your meds this time, do you wanna hurt your kids???
And if you’re feeling good again, tell yourself that the meds are working and that it’s only for the meds you feel so good!!!
I really feel for you, but I’m afraid someone else should take care of your kids until you’re stabilized.
