What Has A Greater Chance Of Making People Restless, Bipolar (aka Manic Depression) Meds Or Depression Meds?

I am asking ON AVERAGE.
DO NOT tell me to ask my doctor because I don’t see my doctor for a long time and I would like to know now. So I want someone who is educated on this kind of stuff to give me a VALID answer.

hello there. im bipolar too. yes ssri’s are more than likely to make your more restless and even manic because your mood has been lifted too much. i also suffer from anxiety and take an maoi, called moclobemide they are the same principal and antideppressants just different stuff in them. between that and lithium everything seems to be pretty much under control.

my opinion anti-depressant meds, rather than mood stabilizers.
SSRI’s (a type of anti-depressant) by themselves if you have bi-polar can make agitation terrible
