I usually take adderall on a regular basis (20mg daily), but since I ran out of medication, and also on occasions in recent memory I experience more feelings of anxiety, sluggishness and depression when I go off it a few days. Is my body chemistry readjusting? Is this normal? Are these withdrawal symptoms? Please answer only if you have experienced this or if you are a psychiatrist. Thanks!

You shouldn’t stop adderall abruptly. It’s such a stimulant that going off will cause you to crash. Call your doctor and get a refill. If you feel you want to stop taking it, wean yourself off gradually.

You can’t stop a medication like that all of a sudden.
It has so many side effects.
With my medication, if I just quit taking it, I could get this deadly rash or seizures.
I haven’t been on adderall myself, but I have stopped taking my medication before…. I literally went crazy and couldn’t control myself until I took my meds.
Call your doctor and get a refill. Slowly reduce the mg.
