* Carrie Fisher has been diagnosed with it;
* Margot Kidder has admitted to it;
* Vivien Leigh;
* Kristy McNichol left her acting career because of it;
* Marilyn Monroe; and
* Ben Stiller.

i don’t know of any family history of manic depression and i think i get highs with my downs but i don’t know if its connected or not…if anyone has an idea it will be really helpful

I see stuff on the news everyday, “crazy guy” does this, “lunatic” does that. The thing is statisticaly people with mental illness are more likely to be victims of crimes then perpetrators. So why the ignorance.

Yes. Manic Depression is old terminology for Bipolar Disorder. Anxiety and panic often accompanies depression.

Even if it makes you feel better for a short time, putting chemicals/poisons into your body and brain is not going to help you get any better in the long run. It will only make it more difficult for your body to help itself.
As hard as it may be to quit smoking (whatever it is), do it for yourself. You will be glad you did.
I’m smoke free for over 9 years now and I don’t miss it one bit.
