Depression Treatment Care

my mother is on so many anti depressants treating her for bipolar and manic depression,although she was diagonised with mild dementia.She has had pyscotic episodes, could they be caused by dementia, and what is the best treatment for dementia.

Not kidding, not a joke. I have manic depression and spent a stretch in psych ward to avoid charges for stabbing a cop. I have been recieving treatment for 3 years and am fine. My Mum just moved to Canada, from Britain and I am sure one of my kids or friends will let it slip. How do I tell her. Or should I bother.

I know from reading about the Great Depression that protectionism only exacerbates the problem. Deficit spending (WW2), while lifting the nation out of the depression, only increases the national debt to the level where we can only afford to make interest payments without cutting a lot of expensive programs. Any economist who can point the way?
