my mother is on so many anti depressants treating her for bipolar and manic depression,although she was diagonised with mild dementia.She has had pyscotic episodes, could they be caused by dementia, and what is the best treatment for dementia.

Not kidding, not a joke. I have manic depression and spent a stretch in psych ward to avoid charges for stabbing a cop. I have been recieving treatment for 3 years and am fine. My Mum just moved to Canada, from Britain and I am sure one of my kids or friends will let it slip. How do I tell her. Or should I bother.

I know from reading about the Great Depression that protectionism only exacerbates the problem. Deficit spending (WW2), while lifting the nation out of the depression, only increases the national debt to the level where we can only afford to make interest payments without cutting a lot of expensive programs. Any economist who can point the way?

I have started medication for depression just yesterday so I need to give it a few weeks to start fully working.
I always feel down. Like no one cares about me and I feel like I want to be alone all the time. I hate social interaction, even with my husband and daughter. I used to love being with friends and family. Now I have no friends.
I am always sleepy. No amount of sleep makes me feel rested.

I have been on YAZ for about 8 months and the depression and anxiety side affects have been getting progressively worse. I need to be on birth control but I cant have it affecting my life like this. Any similar experiences with happy endings? Other pill suggestions?

I was diagnosed with depression recently and was put on Paxil. I’ve been taking it for 2+ months and it’s not working as great as I want it to be. What are some natural ways to help cope with depression? I have OCD and Anxiety along with it… will your suggestion help with that too?
I already have a religion But, that doesn’t matter. Rituals are still a major part of my life.

I am a vegetarian. I do take milk, and sometimes eggs, although I ideally want to quit eating eggs too.

So given these constraints, what is the best anti-depression diet for me!?
