Depression Treatment Care

Question by Mizz Juicie: Is it possible for a mother to have postpartum depression beyond the childs infancy?
I have a friend who is 21 and she has a very jacked up relationship with her mother. Her mom has a very serious complex about herself and she wants to always be viewed as the nice 1 and the 1 thats most important and she has been this way sine her daughter was born. Is it possible for her to be still suffering from some sorta postpartum depression or is she just crazy?

my mother is on so many anti depressants treating her for bipolar and manic depression,although she was diagonised with mild dementia.She has had pyscotic episodes, could they be caused by dementia, and what is the best treatment for dementia.

I feel like a failure, I am also dealing with the loss of father two months ago. I feel like i have no one to talk to, my hubby believes that PPD does not exist, so i can’t tell him that I am depressed and I feel like if i talk to my doc that she think i am bad mother. I am having a hard time being a new mom. this should be a happy time , but i am just so sad. My Baby is only 4 weeks. i am just so frustrated with everything. where should i get help, my ob?
I also yell at my hubby for no reason or stupid reason, I just have so many mood swings, i don’t know what to do, If i get help i think i might have to hide it from my hubby

She has seen therapists, but it makes little effect on her panic disorder, or depression, or obsessive compulsive disorder , whatever she has, She can never relax, and drives me crazy with her panic thoughts

I cant leave her as my dad’s dead
