I had a very crazy blue period where I wept constantly in the 7th month of my pregnancy. Now I’ve had the baby and have been at home for nine days – I’ve had sporadic moments of anxiety but nothing that resembles the depression I went through in my pregnancy…just wondered if I am in the clear or if post-partum may still present itself…? Any thoughts from others who have gone through it?

those hormones are intense and so until they are out of your body you can g et ppd. even a couple months later but by you being aware of it you are already headed in the right direction. I too had the anxiety right after my son was born but oddly just at night. I think the waking up every hr thing just threw me. I am 9 mos pp and I didnt have it but I admit that the hormones definately got me and I still blame them for mood swings here and tehre
i want to get pg again so we keep saying everything will go back into place once I am again ha!
be well and you are most likely in the clear
