Depression Treatment Care

I have a friend who has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. His whole life he has been a rather introverted person. This could be an example of depression. Last month he became extroverted for the first time, and became talkative brave, and out going. He then went to the doctors and recieved a diagnoses of Bipolar 1 disorder.
Can a person be diagnosed with Bipolar 1 disorder with only 1 supposbly manic episode? He has never acted this way in any other point in his life?

My niece lost his father 2 years ago , being 13 years old then, now his mother is depressed and he does not seem to have any friends, he is a very obedient boy and listens to everything his mother says, I was wondering “can living with a manic depressed mother cause the boy to get depression himself ?”

can i sue a restaurant for refusing entrance and service to a mentally challanged person (manic depression) ?

I heard the rumor that my friends girlfriend was getting beat by her boyfriend & that he was attacking the children too… and I wrote an anonymous letter… it came back at me..
I don’t understand, why I make these Bad Judgment calls & do these things… Yes, I’m on meds, & I am seeing a psychologist…
It was not true, I apologized from here to The Heavens, both forgave me, now I know, I’ll beat myself up & dwell on this bad choice for months..
WHY DO I DO THIS? I don’t like the drama, but it seems, I create some of the negative drama in my life, but not meaning to, it just happens..

Hello. I have been diagnosed with depression. I am also bipolar and manic. I am looking for a book for my husband so he can understand my condition better. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
