Question by keepthecmd: What to do about school loans since I was diagnosed as having manic depression & have trouble keeping work?
Just got out of school. I was diagnosed during my schooling as having manic depression. I don’t have a job and no matter how hard I try cannot seem to hold a job down for more than 4-5 months. Doc says I am high-high functioning whatever that means. I could be wrong, but I believe that disqualifies me from recieving disability. I now have over ,000 in loans and the future looks dim. Like I could be homeless someday soon. Please help with any advice you may have. I’d be happy to talk to you too if you’d let me. Thanks.

Find a job that you love and you will never work another day the rest of your life!
Ive found that you can never beat the alarm clock blues, and youve just gotta dig deep and get up and to work, but once im here i love it.
keep positive and focus on goals, dont worry about the bad stuff. worrying doesnt usually help much : )
also you would be very surprised how much a good diet and exercise can help your mental health. feeling good about yourself is just another way to feel good : )
i also like to volunteer as well. often helping others is a great way to feel good too. i like planting trees because you can get out there in the sun and do something for the environment too.
just keep smiling and moving foward, harness the feelings from the good things in your life and block out the feelings from the bad things.
